About Babak

I’m an MMus student at UoM, holding MA and BA degrees, and a passionate, supportive piano tutor. I’ve taught children starting piano, adults learning as a hobby, and students preparing for auditions or music exams, always adapting lessons to their goals.

About the lesson

I teach students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced, preparing them for auditions and recitals. Lessons are fully tailored to each student’s goals. I teach online or at students’ homes in Central Manchester or nearby locations subject to discussion!

I had a really great experience learning piano with Babak. He’s very patient and explains things in a way that actually makes sense, which helped me a lot, especially when something felt difficult at first. He also adjusts the lessons to your level, so you don’t feel stressed or rushed.

You can really tell he knows what he’s doing, but at the same time he keeps things relaxed and encouraging. I felt more confident with each lesson and actually enjoyed practicing.

I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a supportive and skilled piano teacher
