About Alanna
I am an American currently based in London who has been teaching kindergarten and primary school for four years in Hong Kong. I got my Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Sunderland. My most recent position was at American International School (in Hong Kong) teaching first grade. I also have experience as a private tutor focusing on English speaking and comprehension. I have experience teaching children and adults.

I believe that every student deserves the opportunity to learn, and I appreciate the diverse needs every student brings to the classroom. My classroom ethos is one of enthusiasm and positivity, in which it is ok to make mistakes. I strive to make learning fun by using a variety of games in order to practice English in an informal way. I focus on English conversation skills, grammar and pronunciation for learners of all ages through topic-based lessons according to a student's interests.
