About João Gabriel
The Callan Method is a teaching method created specifically to improve your English in an intensive environment. The teacher is always asking questions, so you hear and use the language as much as possible. When you speak, during class, the teacher corrects your grammatical and pronunciation errors, and you learn a lot from these corrections.
The Callan Method teaches English vocabulary and grammar in a carefully programmed way, with systematic reviews and reinforcements. Classes include plenty of spoken language and listening skills, but also reading and writing, so you can review and consolidate what you have learned.
With the Callan Method, the teacher speaks quickly, so that you learn to understand English spoken at your natural speed. It also means that everyone must be focused at all times.

English has always been a very common language in my life; since I was little (around 11 years old) my mother encouraged my learning by giving me games and activities that helped me learn my first words and expressions. Around the age of 14, I started a pre-military preparatory course, in which one of the subjects available was English. In this course I learned the first grammatical structures, such as the modal verbs "do", "can" and "did" and "to be". At 16, I started another course, but focused on basic English; with a lot of effort and dedication I was able to open my vocabulary in a very wide way. However, I still didn't feel confident to communicate and I was still "stuck" in my conversation with native speakers or whose second language was English.
In 2016 I started my graduation in Business Administration at Faculdade Anhanguera de Taubaté, English that was already a language present in my life became even more required, especially when in 2017 I started to intern at LG Electronics. There I had contact with the Korean directors, who spoke no other language than Korean and English. I had to look for a quick and effective solution to improve my knowledge and thus communicate clearly and assertively. It was there that I came across the Callan method, in which I was able to progressively develop myself, making it possible to have rich, agile conversations and mainly with a lot of security and confidence. Now I place myself here as a teacher to help you, through my baggage, also achieve fluency and freedom within that language that opens so many doors!
