About Dean

For over 15 years I have worked in the Performing Arts Industry in a range of capacities. To date, all of my jobs, whether within teaching or in sales, customer service, have involved working with the public, which I enjoy and get great job satisfaction from. I have worked with all ages and capabilities from as young as 4 years of age to adults with learning difficulties. While studying at college and university, I worked at private theatre schools and the prestigious Birmingham School of Acting on the weekend. In between my professional acting career, I have worked as a drama specialist and cover supply teacher. I have found that Performing Arts helps children and adults alike. It helps to teach the basic human interactions to the more in-depth psychology. Building a self-knowledge and confidence. As an actor, I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge which no book can teach you. This knowledge I have found has and still benefits me when in the classroom or directing. Although I learn every day, from those I teach, those I direct and those I meet along the way. We never stop learning.

About the lesson

Hello and welcome to my tutor page. I am Dean, a UK-based actor who specialises in teaching and directing between scratching that acting itch. I am here to help you in any aspect of Acting and gaining that edge for that practical exam or audition. Everyone I have helped has their own story and therefore lessons change and develop to suit the person in question. Perfect! I'm a total beginner with regard to acting " I'm a late bloomer". I had my first free Skype lesson with Dean than I chose to carry on having Skype lessons. I found Dean very professional and experienced .We worked together to find out where I had to improve and had lots of fun along the way which made me relaxed and was able to preform better. I look forward to going to Dean's group lessons in future. I would highly recommend Dean for adult and children acting coach.

If you would like Dean to travel to you the cost is £40. Otherwise £30 Skype for your hour lesson. Do you want to save money and book 10 lessons? Pay for 8 lessons and get 10. Maybe you have 2 children wanting that drama lesson? Well, this is fine the second would be half price. Realistically 3 students max depending on your space but camera can push to 5 students.
