About Kym
I am a trained actor, playwright, radio presenter, and coach. I have worked in the acting and performance industry for the past 10 years and gained lots of knowledge and experience along the way. I have qualifications in acting and performance, performed mostly in theatre, but have worked with some of our industry's big names. I am also a published playwright and have performed my own work at various venues. I want to pass on my knowledge and skills to others

Each class is developed depending on the needs of the student or students. If there is something specific that you are struggling with I will tailor my classes to help you in that area. Otherwise, I like to explore a text and the meaning of the lines to get to know the character; I teach various practitioner methods, such as Meisner, to develop a natural approach to character development and creation. I expect everyone to come to class prepared with their text learnt as this makes working a lot easier.
