About Andrea
I am a teacher with over 20 years of experience.
I have taught in many different school in Manitoba and Ontario. I spent two years teaching in Burkina Faso, North West Africa.
I have taught students from all walks of life and with many different learning needs. I am confident that I can teach English to any student that comes my way.
I strive to use as many techniques as I can in order to address all learning styles.

- As an experienced teacher I know that it is important to get to know my students in order to better understand them and to provide them with the one-on-one help they need.
- A typical lesson would begin with a review of what the student already knows, introduce the next learning topic through examples and guided practice, then allow the student to try the skill on their own.
- I strive to create lessons that will address the unique learning style of the student I am teaching.
- I have over 20 years of elementary classroom teaching experience and have taught all the way from Kindergarten to Grade 8.
- I have a Bachelor of Education degree and a specialty in ESL.
- I am working on getting my OnTESOL certification.
