About Annalisa
I am a qualified solicitor with over 400 hours of experience tutoring. I have tutored dozens of students through their Law degrees and Law conversions, many of whom had failed their exams previously. Every one of my students passed their exams following a period of tuition together, and most achieved a Merit or Distinction (in the GDL) or 2:1 or First (in their Law degree). I have a First Class degree (MA Geography) from the University of Edinburgh, where I placed third in my year. I then went on to achieve a Distinction in the GDL at BPP University and Distinction in the LPC (University of Law). I secured a training contract at my first choice law firm whilst also studying for the GDL and tutoring (at that time I was tutoring A-Level and Undergraduate Geography).

I believe tutoring is a process through which I guide the student towards realising their own academic excellence. The tutoring experience is different for every student, and so I tailor my approach depending on how the student processes information, analyses and learns to help that student reach their potential. My ability to explain complex concepts and teach students how to structure and edit coursework has consistently resulted in students achieving amazing results and learning valuable skills useful beyond academia.
