About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach & Teaching Style
As a passionate and experienced maths tutor based in Melbourne, I focus on building both confidence and competence in my students. My approach is tailored, engaging, and results-driven—designed to meet each learner exactly where they are.
Teaching Techniques & Methodology
- I use a concept-first approach, ensuring students understand the "why" before the "how"
- Lessons are interactive and student-led, encouraging questions and active problem-solving
- I incorporate real-world examples to make abstract concepts relatable and memorable
- Regular diagnostic assessments help track progress and identify areas for improvement
- I offer exam strategies and time management tips for students preparing for VCE or other assessments
️ Lesson Duration
- Standard sessions run for 60 minutes, with options for 90-minute deep-dive lessons
- I also offer shorter revision sessions before exams or assignments upon request
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary) with a major in Mathematics
- Over 10 years of tutoring experience, including classroom teaching and private coaching
- Proven track record of helping students improve grades and boost confidence
- Familiar with the VCE curriculum, NAPLAN standards, and Australian teaching frameworks

Who My Lessons Are For
- High school students (Years 7–12), especially those preparing for VCE Maths Methods or Further Maths
- Students who are struggling, want to accelerate, or need targeted exam preparation
- I also support mature-age learners returning to study or preparing for entrance exams
