About Mari
I have a bachelor's degree in Science (BSc) in Biology and Psychology. I am also a qualified teacher and a certified English language instructor. I teach students of all ages, from the youngest (using TPR) to the more mature student (using mostly conversational strategies). I am passionate about education and self-improvement. I believe that learning English unlocks the door to international opportunities and that it allows people from different parts of the world the unique ability to share with- and learn from each other.

My teaching style is relaxed, but adaptive. I adjust the lesson goals and teaching strategies according to the individual needs of each student. I find that engaged learning happens when people are relaxed and when they feel free to take risks and make mistakes.
In our first session, we will get to know each other and I will ask you about your expectations from our sessions and your specific goals. We can then decide on the structure of future sessions. I will tailor each lesson to your needs and adapt to your specific situation and your English language ability.
