About Maria Lia
I have been teaching English for four years, both in language schools and to private students. Whether my students want to do conversation practice or they are looking to achieve a specific goal, I have always managed to help them in their purpose. For example, one of my students recently got the IELTS grade she needed to be admitted by Oxford University, while another student has passed the English university exam by virtue of our conversation practice.

I lived in London for six years, where I completed my training and started working. In 2013, I got the Cambridge CELTA certificate for English language teaching (ESL) and started working as a teacher in China. I recently relocated to Italy and continued teaching in schools and to private students. I have a versatile teaching style that suits the needs of the student and takes into account his goals. I have experience with adults and children, with the preparation of exams and certificates and with the translation of texts, CVs and dissertations.
