About Adele
I taught vocational qualifications in a Further Education College for 9 years and for the past 3.5 years I have been teaching online English to non-native speakers.
I hold a PGCE which is my main teaching qualification and I am also TEFL qualified.
If I am not working, I will probably be running. I regularly enter 5k events and this year I have completed 2 half marathons. I am also a lover of the outdoors and enjoy going to National Parks to hike hills and mountains.

I am a firm believer in active learning strategies, therefore I aim to maximise the amount of time students are doing activities throughout my classes. My lessons are tailored to the student's individual needs, ability, interests and what they want to achieve. The first session will be used for me to establish this information so that an individual learning plan can be devised.
I can help all abilities with conversational English and structured classes that can focus on specific topics/subjects.
If the student requests conversational English they can request a topic or topics to talk about and I will correct any errors in pronunciation and grammar etc. I will also send written feedback to the student after the class.
If the student requests a structured class, there will materials to focus on and a range of exercises covered in the class, so the student can practice reading, speaking, listening etc or focus on their desired element/s. Again, written feedback and the lesson materials will be provided after class.
I am a very patient individual, I am friendly and positive and I love the rewards teaching brings. It's these qualities that motivate me to help others to develop their English language.
I offer a free 30 minute trial class where I find out more about you and your learning goals. Future classes will be 1 hour in duration at a cost of £20 for every hour.
