About Desiree
I graduated with my Engineering Bachelors and Masters degrees in 2017. Started work through an IT Leadership Development Program for 2 years and now acting as a Cybersecurity Manager. For the last 3 years I have supported the recruitment into the program as well as sat on the board of the Diversity and Inclusion Organization for a fortune 50 company.

My teaching method is to share with individuals or the class to experience that I went through graduating as a minority in stem and my process of finding a job but also providing insight or knowledge of how the other side of the recruitment and hiring process works. I’d walk through specific questions or concerns that individuals may have had about the hiring process within a large company but also provide insight on questions that they never have thought about before or discussions that happen internally that are not usually shared.
