About Rachel
I’m Rachel, a registered secondary school teacher and master’s student specializing in business and investment-related subjects. I’ve always enjoyed breaking down numbers and financial ideas into clear, simple steps, and I know from experience how stressful exams can feel when topics haven’t ‘clicked’ yet. I want to teach because I love seeing that moment when a student suddenly understands a chapter they’ve been dreading. My goal is to help you feel more confident in Business and Accounting by explaining things in plain language, working through plenty of examples together, and building up your exam skills week by week. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, structure and encouragement.

I help secondary and college students build real confidence in Business and Accounting by breaking topics into clear, simple steps and practising with exam‑style questions. Sessions are interactive: we work through problems together, not just watch me talk.
My approach is calm, structured and patient. I start by identifying gaps with a short chat and past papers, then create a focused plan for each student. In lessons, I use worked examples, colour‑coded notes and check‑in questions so you always know why each step is happening.
In a typical lesson, we quickly review last week, tackle 1–2 key topics in depth, then finish with exam questions and feedback. You get clear summaries of the main points and suggested practice to do between sessions.
I’m a great fit for students who feel ‘stuck’ or anxious about numbers and want someone to explain things in plain language, at their pace, with no judgement.
