About Cindy

Do you want to feel stronger, more flexible, and more at peace with your body? I’m here to guide you on your yoga journey.

Hi, I’m Cindy, a certified yoga instructor with a global background. Originally from Italy, born in Switzerland, and raised in France, my yoga journey has taken me across the world. I trained in California, earning my 200-hour certification from YogaWorks, where I studied under my mentors Gigi Snyder and John Gaydos. Since 2019, I’ve been teaching private yoga sessions tailored to individual needs, helping students build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.

I specialise in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin Yoga, and Breathwork, offering customised classes that fit your lifestyle, energy levels, and personal goals. My approach is holistic, incorporating natural cycles such as the moon phases to create a balanced and mindful practice.

☆ What You Can Expect from My Classes:

✿ Vinyasa Flow – A dynamic, breath-synchronised practice designed to build strength, flexibility, and focus. Perfect if you enjoy fluid movement and creative sequencing. Leave feeling energised and grounded

❀ Hatha Yoga – A grounding, slower-paced practice that focuses on static postures, breath awareness, and alignment. Ideal for improving posture, stability, and overall balance.

︎● Yin Yoga – A deep, meditative practice where postures are held longer to release tension and enhance flexibility. Great for stress relief, relaxation, emotional balance, and healing both mind and body.

✷ Breathwork & Meditation – Learn powerful breathing techniques to calm the nervous system, increase focus, reduce anxiety, and support emotional healing. Each session includes guided meditation for a fully immersive, healing experience.

☽ Moon Cycle Practices – During the full moon, energy is high, making it a time for release and reflection. We focus on letting go of tension and emotional blockages through meditation and breathwork, helping restore balance and promote emotional healing.
The new moon is a time for new beginnings. Sessions focus on grounding, setting intentions, and introspection, helping you align with your inner self and support personal growth and healing.

  • What age did you start practicing yoga? Tell us about the moment you decided to begin your practice and how it felt.

I started my yoga journey in my early twenties. My acting teacher suggested yoga as a way to deepen my connection with my body and enhance my performance.
I started with Ashtanga yoga and fell in love immediately. Ashtanga's structure and physicality gave me a solid base for my body and mind. I still recall the studio, my teacher, and the deep feeling of learning and connecting with my body. It felt like opening a door to a new world. Yoga was no longer just about the body; it was a way to reconnect with myself. Over the years, yoga has remained a steady companion through both life's highs and lows. In moments of inspiration, it sparks my creativity. During tough times, it keeps me grounded and helps me find inner stillness. Now, after a decade of practice, yoga continues to guide me, offering clarity and calm, breath by breath.
  • What are your favourite yoga styles, and what other physical activities or wellness practices do you enjoy? Are there any you'd like to explore further?

My favorite yoga style is Vinyasa Flow, as it combines breath with movement in such a fluid and creative way. It's a perfect match for my energetic nature. I also love Yin Yoga for its deep, meditative nature that allows me to slow down and release tension both physically and emotionally.
Aside from yoga, I'm drawn to physical activities that blend mindfulness with flow. Skiing has always meant a lot to me. I grew up on the slopes, and it still gives me the thrill of adventure and a chance to connect with nature. I love surfing too. It brings me a similar meditative flow as yoga, where the rhythm of the waves mirrors the rhythm of the breath.
With seven years of dance training, I've developed a deep appreciation for movement as an art form, which influences my approach to yoga. Dance lets me express myself freely and spontaneously. It feels both liberating and powerful.
I also like trying other wellness practices, such as Pilates and hot yoga. One day, I'd love to try aerial yoga. It looks like a great mix of strength and flexibility.
For new adventures, acroyoga is on my radar, as well as sailing and even wingsuit flying!
  • What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue yoga?

My motivation lies in the positive impact yoga has on both myself and others. Every session brings me new mental clarity, peace, and connection. That's why I keep coming back. Yoga is my safe space for reconnecting, reflecting, and understanding my true needs.
The physical benefits are equally important; yoga has enhanced my strength, flexibility, and overall well-being in ways that continue to inspire me.
Seeing my students experience this same transformation and growth fills me with purpose and joy.
  • Do you have a yoga achievement you're particularly proud of?

The first time I managed to do a headstand without support- it felt like a breakthrough moment! Not just physically, but mentally too, as it was a testament to persistence and trust in my body.
Another achievement is simply the act of showing up on my mat every day, especially during those times when I didn't feel like it. Staying consistent in yoga isn't just about strength. It's also about growing resilience, patience, and commitment. These are the qualities yoga has helped me develop over the years.
  • How have your achievements and challenges in yoga made you a better practitioner and teacher?

The challenges I face in yoga, such as balancing in tough poses or breathing through discomfort, are great opportunities for growth. This growth happens both on and off the mat. Yoga has taught me that challenges aren't obstacles. They are pathways to greater patience and resilience. I tackle each challenge with calm and focus. This approach helps me make steady progress and celebrate every step. I know that growth isn't always linear. This mindset has enriched my teaching and supported my personal growth. It reminds me that even the hardest moments can bring about positive change.
  • If you could practice yoga or go for a jog with a famous yogi or athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?

I'd go with Maty Ezraty. She practised Ashtanga yoga and co-founded YogaWorks, where I did my training. I'd love to ask her how she kept the essence of yoga in her journey. What advice would she share with us about teaching and practicing with authenticity and mindfulness?
I'd also choose Alex Honnold, the free climber. I'd ask him how he manages fear and what mental techniques help him stay present and focused in high-stress situations. His ability to calm the mind while maintaining physical intensity aligns with what I aim to bring into my yoga practice.
  • How do you help your students stay motivated and inspired in their yoga practice?

I motivate my students by building a positive and supportive space. Here, everyone feels empowered and encouraged. They can move forward at their own pace, without fear of judgment. I use a lot of words of encouragement and make it a point to highlight each student's progress. For beginners especially, I like to remind them that yoga isn't about 'good' or 'bad'- it's a personal journey. Just because one person can do a pose and another can't, it doesn't mean one is more flexible or stronger. Yoga is all about practice and consistency. I'm here to help them enjoy the journey instead of comparing themselves to others. I encourage my students to set intentions that go beyond the physical. I remind them to celebrate their small wins, stay kind to themselves, and connect with their reasons for practicing yoga. Motivation often follows when they realise yoga's holistic benefits. I also incorporate a balance of physical challenge and mindfulness in every class, so students leave feeling both strong and at peace. I also share the mental and emotional benefits of yoga regularly. This helps keep everyone inspired and connected to their long-term well-being goals.
  • What makes you a Superprof in yoga?

I see myself as a small fairy on my students' shoulders, offering gentle guidance and support. My approach is to support them in a way that feels light and uplifting, yet meaningful. Yoga isn't just a job for me; it's a passion and a commitment. I want to create a space where everyone feels seen and supported. I also want them to feel inspired to explore how yoga can benefit their lives. Being a Superprof in yoga means sharing my experience, compassion, and love for this practice in every session.
