About Anja
Teaching Yoga means sharing what I love
I have been practising yoga since 2007 and have been sharing my passion since 2019. Since completing my initial Teacher Training, I have been eager to pursue further education, specialising in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Therapy for Children and Adults (Sonia Sumar Method Part 1), Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and Pre and Postnatal Yoga.
Originally from Germany, I relocated to London in 2020 to pursue an MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS/University of London. This academic pursuit has equipped me with comprehensive historical knowledge of Yoga and Meditation. Upon completing my studies in 2023, I made the decision to remain in London.

Rest & Restore: Under this motto, I combine movement, breathing practices, and meditative exercises to address the challenges (such as stress and exhaustion) of daily life.
Each session begins with a check-in to customize the lesson, followed by a grounding practice usually centered on meditation and breathing exercises. This is then complemented by asanas (yogic postures). Depending on the client, the asanas can focus on either mobilization, strenghtening or restorative aspects.
The lessons are suitable for individuals new to yoga as well as experienced practitioners. We can meet both online and in person. The class duration varies between 60-75 minutes. You have the option to book a one-time class or schedule regular sessions with me.
