About Terry

Member of Lion's band in high school. Retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard Band in 2006. Have played in the countries of Taiwan, Hawaii, Bolivia, and Brazil. I have played with the USM concert bands, jazz bands, on all low brass instruments.

About the lesson

My name is Terry Whittington. Retired from Army bands system. Have given lessons to beginners to advanced level students. I am a member of the International Trombone Association, and the British Trombone Society. Have studied with Dr. Marta Hofacre at the University of Southern Mississippi. Was a member of the Mississippi Lion's All-State Band in 1987. I use various methods that were taught to me from USM. Would just like to share my experiences and pass on a little knowledge.
