About Carson
I have been practicing yoga for over 11 years, teaching group classes for 3 years, and have a 200-hour YTT certificate from a school in Costa Rica. Yoga has carried me through grief, trauma, heartbreak, mental health lows, and sobriety. To me, yoga is not just about the physical Asana (the poses), it stretches far beyond that into our inner and outer worlds. Yoga can be a real tool for transformation, transmutation of pain, and growth. I know this because I've seen this firsthand in myself and in my students. The yogis I have worked with often tell me my calming, grounding presence leaves them refreshed and appreciate the workout they get as well. I would be remiss if I didn't mention they always say my playlists are on point! (concealed information)

Sessions are for all-levels. I work with all kinds of bodies, ages, and level yogis. A typical session would include discussing your goals & needs, beginning our practice with pranayama (breath), intention, meditation, grounding, flow/movement, and savasana. I work directly with you to advance poses, correct alignment, and deepen your practice. We can meet in person in San Francisco or virtually from anywhere in the world. These sessions are perfect for busy professionals, injured yogis, private yogis, stuck yogis needing motivation/inspiration, new yogis looking to build a strong foundation, and seasoned yogis looking to hone their practice. The way I teach is very intuitive, thoughtful, and attentive. I want you to get the best experience out of our time together.
