About Sebastian
I am an experienced university lecturer with 9 years experience of full-time teaching at undergraduate and graduate level and 20 years experience in marketing and social empirical research. Starting in 2005, as a research assistant and university lecturer in sociology I have published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and have participated in a number of international scientific conferences at prestigious universities in London (Goldsmiths College, London School of Economics), Cambridge (St John’s College), Glasgow, Barcelona, Gothenburg, Aix-en-Provence, Geneva, Magdeburg, Potsdam, Brno etc. My interest in research methodology and sociology has encouraged me to build a strong portfolio of academic study and work based experience in these areas. That is based on a strong theoretical background gained during my studies at one of the top three Romanian university and also during my 2002 Erasmus stage at one of the strongest methodology-oriented European universities - Utrecht University (Netherlands). I know very little in quantitative methods but he doesn't get frustrated with me and also explains why I am meant to do certain things when coding instead of just telling me what to do. I recommend him, we have made great progress in a short amount of time.

Perfect! Sebastian has been (and still is) an excellent tutor for statistics and R programming for my daughter, a 1st year psychology undergraduate. She did not take Maths A-level as most of her peers did, and she was really desperate, and convinced she would never understand anything of either. In very few lessons Sebastian has been able to build her confidence in an incredible manner, which I thought would be almost impossible. She had developed a sort of psychological block. which he has managed to dissolve. I am truly grateful and would recommend him quite confidently to anyone needing tutoring in these subjects.

As a masters student totally new to the subject of statistics, I was desperately in need of some help in regard to understanding SPSS regression, specifically binary logistic regression. I could not recommend Sebastian more. The systematic method in which we approached my problem really helped me gain a better grasp of SPSS analysis.
