About Asma
I have recently graduated with an Upper Second-Class Honours in a BSc Politics and Sociology degree from the university of Brunel. After a short break I decided to focus on my career goal which is a CELTA tutor, and hence completed a qualification in CELTA. I have always been driven towards the idea of being able to teach abroad in foreign countries, since it enables me to pursue my two major interests: teaching, and travelling. I am very passionate about exploring the different cultures and traditions of the world as well as assisting pupils in education. It is always a great sense of accomplishment to be able to contribute towards the successful achievements of others whether it is getting into university or a new job. Now that I have built the necessary teaching skills to produce productive sessions, It would be a pleasure to develop this experience with new pupils.

My most used teaching methodology that I had maintained throughout my teaching experience was ensuring the student centredness of the sessions. I constantly prioritised the contribution and the individual abilities of the students towards the lesson, this significantly allowed students to increase practice, absorb information more effectively and develop greater interest in the subject. For example the regular use of group/paired work as well as personalised tasks.
