Miss Akyol has five and a half years' teaching experience as an EFL teacher at language colleges around London and a few summer schools around England; three and a half years of experience in teaching Keystage 1, 2, 3 English at supplementary schools and private GCSE and Independent Schools Exams classes.

A graduate of University College London, Miss Akyol studied English Teacher Education at an International University which covered English Literature from Poetry, British and American Fiction, Poetry to Shakespeare and Drama. She also completed a Master of Arts at University College London, which included classes on English Syntax, Semantics, Modern English Grammar, Phonetics and Phonology. She also holds a Cambridge DELTA qualification. Additionally, she has continued her professional development through courses on tutoring through City and Guilds, Middlesex University ( Improving Learning Teaching Achievement).
