About Court
I've been in music for almost all of my life, and participating in musical instruction for the more recent couple of years. With my vocal roots in jazz, choir, and musical theatre, genre is one of my favorite things to play with. I've performed in front of many an audience with only one near death experience (why I agreed to tap dance in stilts is beyond me). Coming from a community of singers, I feel that the best way to hone the voice is to reach out and connect with other passionate singers and people, and that's what I hope to bring to our lessons.

The human voice is an incredibly unique instrument, and each one is different. Working with me, we'll focus on exploring your voice and achieving whatever goals you have as a singer. Whether it be an effort to become the next operatic great or to wow the crowd at your next karaoke session, we'll get you performance ready in no time.
Together, we'll work on a firm understanding of how this wonderful biomechanism functions and how to properly utilize it through various toning exercises. Along with this, a focus on music theory-for any skill level desired-will be covered, as one of the best weapons in a singer's arsenal is the mind. Musical pieces can either be brought to work on or we can explore genres together and find a best fit for you.
