About Lindsay

I am a Special Education Teacher with over 4 years of experience. I currently serve as a K-5 case manager and teacher for 8 children on the autism spectrum. My previous teaching experiences include working as a preschool special education teacher, ABA in-home tutor, and early intervention ABA therapist and special education itinerant teacher (SEIT). I received my B.S. in Severe Special Education (Birth-Age 21) at Boston University and my Masters in Early Childhood Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.

About the lesson

I believe that instruction should align with the individual needs and learning profile of the students in my class. I am mindful of one's strengths, prior knowledge, and learning style (e.g. visual, auditory, or tactile modes of learning). In addition, I believe it is important to seek feedback from my students as well in order to gauge any possible concerns as they arise.
