About Maithili
I am a trained classical vocalist with certification from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, with years of disciplined training and performance experience. My background in classical music is rooted in both theory and practice, allowing me to teach with depth and clarity. I have experience guiding students of all age groups—from school children to adults—with patience, empathy, and commitment. My teaching style is warm, structured, and encouraging. I create a safe space where students can learn at their own pace without fear of judgment. I believe in continuous learning and regularly update my methods to suit individual learning needs. I take punctuality and preparation seriously and ensure every session is well-planned and productive. I’m fluent in Hindi, Bengali, and English, making it easier for learners from diverse backgrounds to feel comfortable and connected. Whether you’re learning for passion, performance, or examination, I will support your journey with sincerity and personalized attention.

About the Class
As a classical vocal teacher trained under Pracheen Kala Kendra, my teaching approach is rooted in both tradition and adaptability. I focus on nurturing each student’s voice, understanding, and love for music, no matter their background or age.
Teaching Techniques & Methods
I combine traditional Guru-Shishya Parampara techniques with modern pedagogy. My lessons include voice culture, breathing exercises, pitch perfection (Shruti), tala (rhythm), and raga development. I use both repetition and explanation to help students understand the “why” behind each note and phrase.
Structure of a Class
Each session begins with a vocal warm-up followed by practice of alankars (patterns), basic or advanced ragas, depending on the student’s level. I also incorporate listening exercises, brief theory explanations, and encourage students to maintain a riyaz (practice) routine. Classes are paced to suit the individual, ensuring gradual yet steady progress.
What Makes My Teaching Unique
Clear breakdown of complex concepts
Strong emphasis on voice clarity and expression
Patient, encouraging, and student-focused
Lessons are customised to the student’s learning speed and goals
I blend discipline with joy, so learning becomes a fulfilling experience
Who Can Join?
I teach school children (8+), college students, working professionals, and adults—whether you are a beginner, a returning learner, or preparing for music exams (like those by Pracheen Kala Kendra)

Maithili is one of those rare teachers who can make learning feel easy and enjoyable. She has a natural way of connecting with her students, whether it's Maths, Science, or English Grammar. What really stands out is how clearly she explains things—no matter how tricky the topic is, she breaks it down so that students truly understand. She's patient, supportive, and always adapts her teaching to suit the student’s pace and comfort. For any student from classes 5 to 10 in ICSE or CBSE, Maithili brings not just knowledge, but also encouragement and confidence. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a sincere and skilled teacher.
