About Shannon

I have been teaching in French and in English in a French immersion school for more than 9 years. In addition I have been tutoring business English for the last 5 years.

I completed an MA in religious studies in Ethics in 2021, researching the connection between language immersion education and empathy. I have experience teaching French and English to children of all ages and to adults.

I love using stories and real world texts to help my students learn. My goal is to help you achieve your goals. We will work on language and read, listen, discuss, and write about topics that are most interesting, enjoyable, and beneficial to you. We will focus above all on your language needs and interests. I believe you learn most efficiently when you enjoy learning.
