About Thomas

The best way for me to fill this section in is to provide you with a reference from a previous client of mine:

“ I cannot recommend Tom highly enough to anyone looking for a tutor. Despite only having a small number of sessions so far, I cannot underestimate how significantly Tom’s help has improved both my understanding of substantive content, as well as exam technique. Tom’s ability to simplify complex concepts in a clear and concise manner has proved invaluable when tackling problem questions, and his excellent understanding of the law is truly reflected by his ability to answer any questions that I have. Since beginning tutoring sessions with Tom, he has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that the tutee is able to maximise the benefits that they receive from each session, illustrating Tom’s truly generous and hardworking character. I really look forward to continuing to work with Tom in the future!”

About the lesson

I have a First-Class Law LLB from the University of Nottingham. I also achieved a High Distinction (86) overall in the Bar Practice Course from The University of Law (I achieved a High Distinction in every examination).

I am currently an Advocate at DAC Beachcroft LLP, advocating within the courts. I am an Associate Lecturer at Manchester Law School and a Guest Lecturer at the University of Nottingham.

I can teach the majority of Civil Law modules (at both A-Level and undergraduate level), especially modules of tort, contract, land, trusts and property, as well as the Bar Practice Course.

My lessons are 45 minutes long and charged at £15. If the lesson requires me to prepare (e.g. read practice exam questions), I also charge £15 per 45 minutes for this.

Please do contact me and we can have a free chat. I would love to help.
