About Sara
I am a fun, firm, fair, and flexible teacher. I believe being enthusiastic and energetic brings joy and fun to the class atmosphere. In addition, I think we can have a wonderful time together when our expectations have been determined and established beforehand. These expectations should be fair, but not fixed. So, I am flexible regarding some unpredictable situations to the extent that they were not made-up fairy tales.

I have a communicative, learner-focused, and reflective approach to Language Teaching because my main goal is to develop my adult/teen learners’ communicative competence across all four skills but with a reflective-based orientation throughout all stages of teaching. To exemplify, I contemplate what and how I teach by having in mind my students' needs. In addition, I anticipate and take into consideration my student's expectations and feedback before, during, and after the presentation, practice, and production. Indeed, I reflect before-action, in-action, and on-action: Therefore, lesson plans are presented in contextualized and scenario-based forms and presented by the teacher in the first quarter of the class time, but followed by the active participation of students in extracting the grammar rules or making hunches and examples with and about new vocabularies, and continued further while students are actively involved in role-plays, games, and tasks practiced in controlled, semi-controlled, and finally, the last quarter of the class is devoted to the activation of the taught target language by engaging learners' participation in free task-based activities.
