About Suhas
I am a native English speaker, a trained IELTS teacher, and an engineer by education with a professional background in statistics. Alongside my technical career, I have had the opportunity to learn multiple languages and interact with people from diverse cultures, gaining insight into different vocabularies, accents, and communication styles. I believe that teaching a language goes beyond grammar and vocabulary—it is a way to understand people, their perspectives, and how they express ideas. This belief shapes my teaching approach, allowing me to adapt lessons to individual learners while creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. My goal is to help learners communicate confidently and naturally in English, whether for everyday use, academic goals, or professional growth.

Having learned multiple foreign languages and possessing an understanding of several native languages, I am deeply aware of the common bottlenecks learners face when learning English. This perspective allows me to anticipate challenges and tailor lessons to each learner’s background and goals.
I have trained 15+ learners from multiple countries to successfully improve their English communication for professional requirements, and have coached 20+ students in the General IELTS format for academic, migration, and career purposes.
My lesson structure is built around a learner-driven approach, customized to individual needs and objectives. I focus on progressive word-building techniques, supported by essential grammar structures, sentence formation, pronunciation, and fluency practice typical of effective ESL instruction.
A core aspect of my teaching is understanding the learner’s sentiment and comfort level. By creating a relaxed and supportive learning environment, I help students process what they learn with confidence, allowing natural comprehension, retention, and practical application.

I have known Suhas for more than 4 years now and my son has been receiving physics tutoring for past 18months. It’s been a great learning curve improvement and I can see a significant adaptation of learning methods. There is just something about the new ways of teaching same concept which brings out the best in his way of tutoring.
