About Chris
A bit about myself: I graduated from York University in Canada with an Honors degree in Communications Studies and English in 2018, and I have a deep love of learning and, most importantly, different cultures and languages, which is why I became a TEFL tutor! I understand a bit of Japanese, French, and Spanish as well - it is learning those same languages that made me really understand that language learning is a sometimes crazy journey.

Hi! I'm Chris, a certified Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) teacher, and I want to help you with any questions you might be having with English so you can keep growing as a learner! I totally understand that English can be a tricky language, but I know you can do this - I'll do my best to get you through to the next level!
I want to focus on things that you will enjoy learning about, so we can work together on projects and activities that you will find interesting - that way, you will more easily remember the English lessons that day! All I need for you to do is tell me why you want to learn English (whether it's for fun, for school, for work, or anything else!) and then what types of things you do for fun, and we can build a lesson from there! Please don't be shy - I'm happy to talk about anything! :)
