About Letitia
As a millennial myself, I know exactly how you feel about learning English. Don't worry, I will work with you to personalize our classes together to make it as engaging and interesting as possible while you learn a new language! I've been teaching for 5+ years and have taught over 500+ students! I believe that confidence is important in anything that we do and I will encourage you when you don't feel your best. I will make sure that you always keep a positive mindset about your studies! My students have progressed to Upper Intermediate with hard work and dedication. For one-on-one lessons, I work with you to create personalized lessons for you to get the best out of the classes. Your goals in learning English need to be clear before you start classes - don't waste your time studying things that are irrelevant. We work together to improve your confidence in the language. I push my students to think independently and take responsibility for their own learning, and guide them in the process. 2-hour lesson Recommended to people who want encouragement and support from a teacher / tutor about their learning. This gives you more time with the teacher to ask questions and have a lot of help on the different practice tasks (Elementary to Intermediate). 1-hour lesson Good for people who are confident in learning without a guide and need feedback on certain parts of their learning journey (upper intermediate). I've taught English for 5+ years and have experience teaching kids (8-16 years old) as well as adults (18+) from all over the world here in Australia. I enjoy experimenting with modern technology to teach as it makes the tasks more engaging for my students. My students have done many presentations using tech tools such as PowerPoint and have written blogs to improve their writing skills. There is a multitude of free tools that can be used to study English which you will discover when you study with me!
