About Thomas

I am a licensed U.S. attorney and graduate of the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. I specialize in helping both JD and LLM students build strong legal reasoning skills, and master core doctrinal and procedural subjects to pass any US bar exam.

About the lesson

My course is for people of all legal backgrounds who are eligible to take a UBE or California Bar Exam. The course would entail a complete overview of all subjects and topics required to pass the bar. My program will be extremely flexible to allow you to consume all the knowledge you need without the stress associated with bar prep. I will breakdown the toughest of legal principles into simple, relatable concepts with some memory hacks/tricks for easy recall.

Resources: Students will have access to my carefully crafted, student-oriented, and concise LECTURE NOTES, over 1800 licensed MBE QUESTIONS and 200 SIMULATED MBE style questions. Classes will generally include an in-depth discussion the topics, with a collaborative problem solving session of real MBE questions at the end to recap the related topic. . The lectures are designed to give you the understanding you need without reading beforehand. You may choose to create your own outlines from the lecture notes or use them as your substantive notes for the respective subjects. Reading them beforehand merely turns my lectures into revision for you, which leads to better retention of the material.

For Both Working Professionals and in-school Students or Graduates: I would employ a very flexible and collaborative teaching method to help students easily assimilate the lessons into their respective schedules no matter how busy their lives may be.

Delivery: 100% remote - My teaching will be very student centered, taking into consideration the peculiar needs of each student. Whilst some students are more readily outspoken in class, others don't like the spotlight and prefer to be given all the information they need to learn on their own, which I personally understand and appreciate. My goal is to provide the most comfortable learning experience as efficiently as possible to help you acquire the knowledge you need to pass the bar.
