About Trevor

Music has always been a central part of my life, and teaching it is something I truly care about. My goal as a music teacher is not only to help students learn how to play or understand music, but also to help them gain confidence, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the art.

I take my role as a teacher very seriously and strive to provide lessons that are professional, structured, and supportive. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to meet each student's needs, goals, and learning pace. Whether you are just starting out or looking to improve your existing skills, I will guide you step by step in a clear and encouraging way.

I focus on building strong musical foundations, including technique, rhythm, listening skills, and musical understanding. At the same time, I believe that learning music should be enjoyable and inspiring. My lessons are designed to balance discipline with creativity so students stay motivated and excited about their progress.

Students who work with me can expect:

A patient and supportive learning environment

Clear explanations of musical concepts and techniques

Structured lessons with achievable goals

Constructive feedback to help you improve

A teacher who is committed to your progress and growth

I value professionalism, preparation, and communication. I make sure every lesson is organized and focused on helping students make real progress. My goal is to help each student develop their skills, confidence, and personal musical expression.

Whether you want to learn music as a hobby, improve your technique, or pursue music more seriously, I am here to support and guide you on your musical journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach combines structure, creativity, and personalization. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match each student’s goals, experience level, and musical interests.
Some of the techniques I use include:

Fundamental skill development: I emphasize strong foundations such as rhythm, technique, ear training, and music theory.

Learning through practice: Students learn by actively playing, singing, or composing during lessons rather than only discussing theory.

Step-by-step progression: I break complex musical concepts into manageable steps so students can progress confidently.

Listening and analysis: We listen to different styles of music to understand musical structure, phrasing, and expression.

Creative exploration: I encourage improvisation, songwriting, and personal interpretation to help students connect emotionally with music.

My goal is to balance discipline and creativity, helping students improve technically while enjoying the process of making music.
