About Ruben
I am currently studying English and Spanish for a master degree and I am about to graduate to teach at German schools. I have already worked in language schools, such as the Japanese language school in Düsseldorf (Germany), and I had various experiences as a teacher at different schools, both here in Germany and at a private school in Peru.
Languages can be used more efficiently in everyday life situations and for further future jobs by linking them together. I speak 5 languages myself (mother tongues: Spanish and Japanese; German: native speaker) and, therefore, I am able to not only combine many languages or language similarities, but also to detect language difficulties and master them quickly.

Basically, my lessons are based on the needs of the learner. First, I will get an idea of your language skills/level so that I can adapt the lessons according to your profile. YOU decide what exactly we should deal with and practice. For instance, if you say that you want to improve your oral skills, then we will practice this specifically.
Language teaching/learning is not always about focussing on the rules and norms, but also on functional competences. In the end, it is not important for you to become a native speaker, but that you can communicate with others and that you acquire a certain "feeling" for other cultures.
