Elaine a super, talented musician and has a great understanding of how to welcome new or experienced musicians, I can only speak from my ukulele lessons (where I learned ALOT, well pretty much all I know now) but I have seen how her knowledge/talent extends to other instruments also, so if you’re wanting to learn more than one instrument, you’ve came to the right place!

I can’t recommend Elaine enough and I can guarantee your learning will be in experienced, capable hands!

I first attended Ukulele Club Liverpool nearly three years ago and through Elaine’s skill, dedication and sheer enthusiasm I’ve had fun and enjoyment playing in gigs around the city I never thought possible. Elaine is the creator and tutor of UCL and I can highly recommend Elaine and would encourage anyone to join UCL and learn this amazing instrument.

Elaine is a very laid back teacher, when nothing appears to be too much effort, she has taught hundreds of players in the area and I can't emphasis how important Elaine's contribution to the local ukulele scene in Liverpool.

I took ukulele lessons with her 4/5 years ago and on that course I was introduced to the whole ukulele scene, what started out as a "mid-life-crisis" to learn an instrument has now become a major part of my life, music and the ukulele has brought joy, happiness and also helped me raise some large amounts for local charities. Also the other students who attended the course around the same time have become good friends. Keep up the good work.

Elaine not only managed to teach my daughter to play really well in a short space of time, she has filled the lessons full of fun so she enjoys playing and looks forward to the lessons. She even gave her the confidence to perform in the band Elaine founded. Couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Elaine takes a person-centred approach to teaching and gets pleasure out of groups taking ownership of their learning by giving song and performance suggestions. I have been a member of UCL since 2014 and have thoroughly enjoyed my time with them.

Elaine taught me everything I know about music and encouraged me every step of the way. Since taking lessons from her I've performed in several bands, at festivals, weddings and private events and have loved every minute. It's no exaggeration to say Elaine's lessons have changed my life (for the better obvs). Couldn't recommend her classes more. If you are going to learn uke,learn from the best there is, I was taught 4 years ago by Elaine, from there I have played alongside her with UCL,at the everyman, St.Georges hall,and many more great venues,and played at The Cavern with our band that we formed from within the club, I couldn't play a note at the start of my uke journey,
