About Julia
I am a university accounting professor, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), with a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA).
I bring extensive experience in both higher education and professional accounting to my work with students. I have taught accounting at the university level for many years, working with undergraduate and graduate students across a range of accounting and business courses. I am also a published academic researcher with experience in accounting, auditing, professional ethics, and related areas.
My professional background includes governmental accounting and auditing, pension auditing, fraud, internal controls, and financial analysis. This combination of academic and professional experience allows me to help students understand not only how to solve accounting problems, but also why the concepts matter and how they are applied in practice.

What sets me apart is the combination of extensive university teaching experience, professional credentials, and practical accounting and auditing expertise. I hold a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP). As a university professor and published researcher, I have experience teaching and explaining complex accounting concepts at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
