About Andy
Once a student physician, I thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced situations; I think on my feet, and I strive for positive results through the application of my analytical and creative abilities. In addition, I possess expertise across the academy: in the sciences through medicine, the humanities through linguistics, the arts through music, and most recently, in the realm of higher educational leadership. I also possess an aptitude for optimizing performance through metacognitive awareness learned as a student of foreign languages and cultures. I am one to motivate my students. I am able to visualize success, and identify innovative and effective strategies for achieving it. I am tenacious and am not one to shy away from hard situations—I can assure that my students will achieve task mastery in an expedient manner, regardless of tedium or difficulty.
