About Jess
Welcome to the world of photography, where creativity is infinitely endless!
I have been a Photographer for 10 years. I have professional experience as an in-house Photographer within a media company, working in both studio settings and on location, as well as working as a freelancer. My work spans the realms of documentary, photojournalism, portraiture, and weddings.
My passion for photography stems from my love of visual storytelling. This led me to study Photography as an A Level (A* Award), followed by a recent Masters in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography (Distinction Award), honing my knowledge and technical skills within the exciting field of photography.
I am dedicated to helping others develop their skills in photography, giving raw and honest advice that I have learnt throughout my decade of photography, of which I wish I had been told myself!

My lessons are tailored to meet your unique needs, providing support and guidance on various aspects of photography. Whether you're delving into the technical intricacies of camera controls (shutter speed, aperture, ISO etc.), navigating the vast realm of digital photography, exploring the charm of film, refining your composition and framing skills, or perfecting the art of posing – I've got you covered!
Or maybe you're looking for support with progression of your own creative projects? If so, I'm here to facilitate creative sessions, offering seasoned insights and supporting you in the development of your projects. From idea generation, shot lists, kit suggestions, image selection, sequencing, caption writing, image editing in Adobe Lightroom, portfolio building and zine/book designing on Adobe InDesign.
So, whatever it is you are hoping to learn, I'm excited to be able to share my experience with you support you in the development of your journey in photography!
