About Tomas
I am a qualified ESL tutor with 8 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I am committed to helping learners develop strong English skills through personalised and supportive instruction. I believe that every student learns in a different way, so I take time to understand individual needs and goals.
I begin each course by assessing the student’s current language level and areas that need improvement. Based on this assessment, I design customised lesson plans that focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. My lessons are clear, structured, and easy to follow.
I use interactive teaching methods such as guided practice, conversations, and real-life examples to make learning meaningful. I encourage students to use English actively and confidently during class. I also help students with academic English, presentations, assignments, and exam preparation.
One of my strongest skills is patience and clear communication. I explain concepts in simple steps and provide regular feedback to support progress. I maintain a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable practising English. My goal is to help learners become confident, independent English users.

My ESL teaching approach is student-focused, practical, and motivating. I design lessons based on each student’s level, goals, and learning style to make learning English easy, enjoyable, and effective.
Motivation is important in my teaching. I encourage students through positive feedback, achievable goals, and regular progress tracking to help them stay confident. Communication is practised in every lesson through speaking, listening, and real-life conversation exercises.
Creativity makes lessons fun and memorable. I use role plays, stories, visuals, and practical exercises to improve understanding and retention. Time management ensures lessons are structured, balanced, and productive.
Besides ESL, I also teach spoken English, grammar basics, vocabulary development, pronunciation, business communication, email writing, and presentation skills. My goal is to help students communicate clearly and confidently.
