About Ella
Hey! My name's Ella and I have been a peer tutor for 5 years and a teacher's aide for 3 years. I believe there is a way for everyone to learn anything. I think it's important to continue to grow your knowledge every day to be able to have more opportunities and ways to grow. This is why I love teaching and tutoring, I am always being taught something even when I am teaching. I create multiple lessons to help others learn the best they can whether with me or doing independent work. When working with me I will also help build skills to help learn how to study and/or retain information because this is such an important skill to have later on in life if you take harder classes or it can be important for keeping or landing a job. I can also sign in ASL because I am hard of hearing. I love to make jokes and have fun but only if work can continue to get done and remain professional! I hope to meet you soon!

I make my own note and work sheets to cater to the student and their level of understanding as well as I have other options for plans for those who have different ways of learning (ex. visual, hands on, ect.) A typical lesson plan from me will typically take 30 min to an hour of time each day. I am willing to take time to teach a higher level if student desires more and is willing to put in effort.
My lessons are crafted to help further your current skills or create them as far as the arts go. My academic lessons are aimed to help explain classes in different ways to help as an aid to information you already know and build a new level of understanding.
