About Alexandra
I studied music since I was 7, I started with piano lessons, then guitar and last but not least vocals.
I dedicated most of my time since then to vocals and piano.
I studied jazz music in high school, pop, dance and a bit of classical music.
I graduated from the Conservatory in Bucharest and since I was a student there I started teaching.
What I love most about teaching is that I can pass on my knowledge to other people and even inspire them.
I am confident with the materials and techniques I provide in my classes, being taught myself by a great tutor.

I start by seeing at what level my student is in that moment and I look for areas of improvement as well as listen to my student's wishes regarding his/her progress.
One lesson usually takes an hour.
I have a different approach to kids than I have to teenagers or adults. Therefore, when I am with kids, I focus on teaching as practically as possible. On the other hand, with adults, I would get more in-depth with theory.
But this depends from student to student and how fast they learn.
Whatever I teach, whether it's piano, vocals, or music theory, I start with the basics.
Left and right hand on the piano, the G CLEF and the F CLEF and what they mean, vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises.
I mostly worked with kids when I was employed at "Armonia" a private music school in Bucharest but now I work with people of any age.
