About Ianthe
Ianthe has been practising Hindustani classical music for the last 10 years and has completed a 6 year diploma equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from Prayag Sangeet Samiti in the subject. She is also a self-taught multi-instrumentalist and can play the drums, keyboard, ukulele and harmonium! In 2018, she represented India at Ethno England (a world music exchange programme) which inspired her to conduct world music workshops with people from all around the world. So far she's touched hearts of 3000+ people across India, Nepal, Portugal, Chile, Vietnam and the UK. Her dream is to build musical relationships all around the world.

Recently moved from India, Ianthe has 7 years of experience in teaching music to children (as young as 3!) and adults. Ianthe uses a student-centric approach to teaching. She starts by understanding her students' learning needs and customises each lesson plan according to that. Typical length of a lesson would be 60 minutes. Ianthe ensures a two-way communication throughout the lessons which makes her sessions engaging and fun!
