About Melissa
First of all, thanks for clicking on my profile and considering me as a tutor.
I know firsthand how challenging learning a new language can be—Spanish is my second language (though I'm still working on it!), and I’ve been slowly learning Turkish for a few years. Because of my own language-learning journey, there is absolutely zero judgment in my space. I have immense admiration for anyone taking on English, and I know how much effort it takes.
Outside of teaching, I worked as a pediatric homecare nurse for 10 years, caring for children with medical conditions in their homes. I currently live in Florida in the US, with my 4-year-old cat, Mari. In my free time I like reading, roller skating, practicing yoga, and going to the beach.
