About Clara
I have been passionate about the English language since a very young age and I have always sought to improve myself by watching English / American YouTubers, series in their original version, and reading articles in English. My previous student jobs in tourism, as well as my foreign friends and penfriends, gave me the opportunity to practice the language. I have the B1 level certification in English and passed my baccalaureate with the European section mention (economics course in English).
I have also always liked to read and write, which has become a real means of expression for me. I like to enrich my vocabulary, my grammatical knowledge and find the right syntaxes. I often correct the professional writings of my father or my friends!
I am a sociable and dynamic person. I like to find everyone's way of learning and use it to make them succeed. I know how to be patient and show understanding. With me, no pressure or stress, we are not in class! I'm here to help you improve, understand yourself and listen to your difficulties to resolve them as much as possible in an environment in which you feel good.

As a private teacher, I like to put myself on an equal footing with my students to break with the sometimes more rigid school context. Here we have time to understand so don't panic! I like to take the amount of time needed, re-explain several times if necessary, and try several techniques until I find the one that best suits your child. My guideline is: no one sucks, we all have our own way of learning and we have the right to access it without judgment.
Use of videos for oral comprehension, of posts on social networks or articles for reading comprehension, writing e-mails / letters, oral discussions, and small drawings are means that I can use, while giving tips and applications / sites to refer to.
I am available from 5.30pm to 7.30pm / 8pm on weekdays and Saturdays and Sundays as well.
