About Aileen
I have tutored in writing for two years, mostly at the college level. I worked at a tutoring center for 3 semesters, helping various students each day. I must have helped over 100 different students during my time there. I also tutored for writing online, by proofreading documents and providing constructive feedback in the comments section. Many of my students came to me after receiving a low grade and being offered a second chance to resubmit their work by their professors. Their grades were always much higher after my tutoring.

I am a graduate student with 2 years of tutoring and assistant teaching experience. Most of my tutoring experience has been in Writing for English. I tutor students of all ages, but I specialize in working with adults as well as high school and middle school students. I have my own materials and lesson plans. I use visual and auditory teaching; I also incorporate a lot of practicing activities.
