About James

Music has been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve played in bands, worked in studios, and explored sound from all kinds of angles. Over the years, I’ve come to understand not just how music works, but how powerful it is — how it can connect people, lift spirits, and give us all a way to express ourselves. I want to teach because I believe everyone has music inside them. Whether you’re picking up sticks for the first time or finding your voice through rhythm, I want to help you feel confident, inspired, and excited to play.

About the lesson

Music is magic. Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your playing to the next level, I’m here to help. I’ll give you the technical skills, creative tools, and personal guidance you need to reach your musical goals. Together, we’ll build your confidence, unlock your creativity, and develop your unique sound. With a tailored approach to each student, I’ll support you every step of the way on your musical journey—whether it’s mastering an instrument, learning to write your own songs, or simply enjoying the process of making music.

James was great, very friendly and taught me at just the pace I wanted, I only took lessons for a few months but was very happy with what I learned.
