About Dongping

Hi, I'm very glad to have this conversation with my future students. As a piano teacher, I am extremely honored to have earned teacher certifications from Steinway Pianos and RCM over my 20-plus years of teaching. As a dual-active member of both MTAC and MTNA, I never cease to improve my teaching skills. I used to focus on teaching K-12 students, but ten years ago, when my mother became my first adult student, she encouraged me to teach all age groups.

About the lesson

I use the mainstream North American piano teaching method and offer fully personalized courses. My educational background gives me a deep understanding of students, both physically and psychologically. In each one-hour class, students receive training in technique, theory, sight-reading, and listening.
