About Joshua
I’ve been passionately playing the guitar for 8 years and have been teaching students of all ages and skill levels—from absolute beginners to aspiring intermediate players for 2 years. My journey started with Bass Guitar in the jazz genre, but my teaching approach is built on a strong foundation of musical theory, technique, and, most importantly, fun! For me, the guitar is more than just an instrument; it's a lifelong passion. I’ve spent the last 3 years honing my craft and, crucially, learning how to make the learning process clear, engaging, and tailored to your personal goals. Whether you want to nail that difficult solo, write your first song, or just play simple chords by the campfire!

We will first Analyse what you have learnt in your free time, Once you show me then we can break down exactly what you have learnt as fundamentals to all pieces are important. Then we will work on refining your technique so you can ace the piece. Finally you can suggest a song we can learn and we will learn it piece by piece together. 1 hour at base but can as long you want it to be. Taught 4 students. Any age and any level.

In school he was the reason I switched from Keyboard to Acoustic Guitar, his arrangements and feel for a groove is incredible. He helped push me to the level I am at now and I aspire to play as well as him one day.
