About Leana
I am currently doing a Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Knowledge and experience; two elements that have always been an exciting journey for me to embark on, seeing as knowledge is never stagnant, and promotes growth in many areas of one's life! I have been tutoring for roughly a year and a half through a private tutoring company. I also have other professional qualifications in music, as well as in sports, such as target shooting and so forth. Furthermore, the students I have tutored have experienced a definite increase regarding their marks in the subjects I presented to them, carving out a special place for each of my students where they can be themselves and strive towards their full potential.

I have always believed that knowledge is attained through natural learning, thus making use of a naturalistic teaching approach where each student is exposed to their learning material in a relaxed, stimuli-rich environment. This helps to promote active learning, in a fun environment, where there is never a dull moment! I would describe myself as an energetic, friendly and positive person, who is always eager to help others reach their goals, especially when teaching! I believe that knowledge is truly power, and that through teaching others, we can help to equip those around us with the necessary skills required to face the challenges that society presents us with.
