About Terri
I am a single mother of two teens, one of whom really struggled in her early years to find her love of reading and writing. It took us many years of gentle trial and error to find the things that unlocked this world for her and now she thrives in the creative arena. I believe that the ability to work through issues in your life by weaving them into creative outlets is invaluable to mental health and that it is something that everyone should be able to do. However, like everything worthwhile, it's a skill that must be learnt. I have been teaching GCSE English Language at college to adults returning to learning and to those teenagers who need to resit for a better grade. I find it incredibly rewarding. I am a published author both traditionally and self-published, who has been writing professionally since aged 7!
