Hello! My name is Emmanuella, and I’m a TESOL-certified English teacher through Arizona State University (ASU). I have over two years of experience volunteering with children and teenagers in educational settings, and I bring that same patience, energy, and care into every lesson I teach. While I’m new to formal English tutoring, my background in youth-focused programs has equipped me with strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with students. Teaching Techniques & Methodology I use a communicative, learner-focused approach that encourages students to actively participate and build confidence in using English. My lessons often include games, storytelling, visual aids, and real-life situations to make learning practical and enjoyable, especially for younger learners. Lesson Length Most lessons run for 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student’s age and preference. I can also adjust the duration to suit different learning goals or attention spans. Qualifications & Experience I’m TESOL-certified by Arizona State University (ASU) and have over 2 years of experience volunteering with young people in various educational settings. While I’m new to teaching English specifically, my background working with children and teens has helped me develop strong communication and instructional skills. Who My Lessons Are For I specialize in teaching English to learners aged 17 and under, from beginner to intermediate level. I'm also open to teaching adults who are just starting their English learning journey or looking to improve their everyday communication skills.
