About the lesson

I’ve experienced both extremes—classes focused only on exams, and classes focused only on playing songs. From experience, neither builds real confidence on the guitar.
My approach blends both, so you actually understand what you’re playing. Over time, we’ll build:
- Ear training
- Sight reading
- Music theory (made simple)
- Finger strength & control
- Basic improvisation
- Songs you enjoy
It may feel like a lot, but learning these together helps you progress faster and play confidently for years—not just short-term.
My teaching style:
I create a relaxed, supportive space—especially for beginners. Since I’m still learning too, I understand the struggles and explain things in simple, practical ways. I focus on patience, clarity, and steady progress.

Adults new to guitar
Anyone who wants to truly learn, not just memorize songs
Class structure:
- 1-hour sessions (or 2 shorter sessions for faster learners)
- Part teaching, part guided practice & feedback
- Focus on helping you eventually learn independently
